LATE SHIPPING.
A brigantine, inside Tiri, is signalled, as we go te press. The following small coasters have arrived : Progress, from VVhananaka ; Dream, from Coromandcl ; Jane, from Mahurangi ; Mabel, from Tutukaka ; Gipsy and Waitemata, from Whangapoa; Olive, from Waiara ; Waratah, from Mercury Bay. The German brigantine Gazelle, 362 tons, Captain Breckwoldb, arrived from Tongatabau, this afternoon, 16 days out. She had very stormy weather up till Monday last, and fair weather since. The Gazello brings a full cargo of copra. Messrs Staley, Radford and Co. quote sailing vessel rates from London. To Auckland: rough measurement, 27s Gd to 30s ; tine, 40s ; weight, 25s to 30s ; cement, 5s per cask. Steamer: rough measurement, 50s to 555; fine, 70s to 75s ; medium fine, 60s to 655. Sydxky, April 28.—Arrived: Cami.lle, from Kaipara. Onehuncja, this day.—The Union Company's s.s. Watiaka left for the South ab noon to-day, with the inward San Francisco mail and the following passengers :—Captain Burke, Mefdamea Reed, Galvin and' eon, Messrs Shortland, McDonald, Biemer, Scuner. and seven steerage. The Union Company's VVareatea, Capb. Hcwin, arrived from Westporfc at noon wLbh 470 tons cohl.
