AN INTERESTING BUDGET OF NEWS.
The R.M.s Mariposa which arrived this morning with the English and American mails via San Francisco brings s uch an unusually interesting budget of news that we have issued to-day a special four-page supplement to afford space for the publication of ma?! matter. On pages three will bo found full details of the extraordinary " blizzard" which passed over the Eestern States of America on March 13th and 14th. On pages six and seven we give a large amount of general mail news, including two American horroYs and one mining disaster, the burning of the Oporto theatre shocking oecurence at a Mexican bull-fight, further details with regard to tho adventures of Mrs Gordon Baillie, ehc. On page 8 is published an interesting account of tho imposing spectacle attending the funeral of the late Emperor of Germany.
