MOZART KNOCKED OUT.

Lord Allen is being eagerly backed for th e Newmarket Handicap, and has jumped to 10 to 1. Victim is also heavily supported.
Mozart has been knocked out of the betting, and it is rumoured that he broke a blood vessel.
Mitrailleuse is firm at 100's to 9. AUSTRALIAN CUP. Moorehouse is quoted at six to one (wanted), Enfilade, seven to one; Australian Peer, Arsenal and Abercorn at 10 to 1 each. There is but little wagering, however.
Lady Nosah, Artillery, Sextant, Adulation, and Beresford were shipped from Chrißtchurch yesterday to fulfil their Wanganui and Napier engagements.
