Affilitatiokt Case.—John Patrick Quinn, storekeeper of Onehunga, was charged on the complaint of Miss Emma Wheatcroffc with refusing to provide for the support of her two illegitimate twin children, of whom the said J. P. Quinn is the father. Sir William Wasteneys, who appeared for the complainant, stated that it had been agreed upon between himself and Mr Earle (the defendant's solicitor) to ask for an adjournment of the hearing of the case until Wednesday, the Bth of February, as it would suit all parties concerned. — The Bench granted the adjournment, and with the, exception of a couple of trifling civil cases adjourned from the last sitting of the Court, both of which were dismissed, the business was concluded.
