Heavy Fresh.
DAMAGE TO WATER RACE.
Paeroa, this day. The heavy rain which fell here on Satur day night caused a fresh in the Waitewheta River, which made a breach through the dam from whence the water supply is obtained for driving Railey's mill at Piarangahake. Tre break is about 20ft in length, and it is estimated that the cost of repairing the damage will amount to about i'so.
