ILLNESS OF THE HON JAMES WILLIAMSON.

In- consequence of a telegram received from Mr Tolhurst, manager of the Bank of NewZealand, Wellington, Mr Thomas Williamson left yesterday by the Gairloch in orde* to meet his father, the Hon. James Williamson, who, it is anticipated, is now on his way to Auckland, having recovered a little from the attack of illness with which he was overtaken. If, when Mr Williamson arrivesatTaranaki, hefinds that his father has started, he will wait there for him. If, however he learnsthathis father has been unable to proceed, Mr Williamson will go right, forward to Wellington. It appears that for lime years past the Hon. Mr Williamson has been subject occasionally to symptoms of affection of the heart.
