.Consols are quoted at 103. Four per cent. New Zealand loan is 98. The market rate is 3 per cent,, and the bank rate 4 per cent. Tallow and breadstuffs are unchanged. For hides there is but a limited demand, and prices are fully -J-cl per lb lower. The weekly returns of the Bank of England, published to-rlay, show the total reserve in notes and bullion to be £12,300,000, an increase of ,£500,000 during tho week. ■ The proportion of the reserve to liabilities is 47 per cent., as against 4 G percent, last Thursday. London", November 11. Consols, 103. New Zealand 4 per cent, inscribed stock, 98, Adelaide wheat, ex store, is unchanged at 33s Gd ; New Zealand wheat, from 30s _to 335, according to quality. Adelaide flour, ex store, at 235. The total quantity of wheat and Hour afloat for the United Kingdon is 1,510,000 quarters; for the Continent, 207,000 quarters. Australian tallow, average quality: Beef, 22s 6d; mutton, 24s 6d; New Zealand mutton, prime quality, remains at 3|d to 4d per lb.

London November 12. The wheat market is quiet, and prices are unaltered. Quotations for floating cargoes are slightly firmer. The Continental and American markets are steady. Australian consignments on the spot are quoted at 33s 6d. Three off-coast cargoes have been sold at 325. No business is reported in the new crops. The flour market is inactive. Owing to. the drought, ■the yield of the American maize crop is deficient by 43,000,000 quarters. Sugars of all kinds have advanced and the market is buoyant. German beet-root sugar, on the spot, is quoted at 13s Gd; forward consignments slightly higher. The Mathoura Estate Agricultural Company, Eiverina, with a capital of half a million, and the Central Queensland Gold Estates Company, with £75,000 capital, have been registered. The following is the order of payments for shares in the British Broken Hill Silver Mining Company :— £l on application, £1 on allotment, 30s on December 15. and the balance on February 1. Messrs Walters, Bond, Samuel F. Samuel, Joshua Thomas Pyke, and Daniel Griffiths are appointed London directors, and Mr James McAndrew chairman of the Company. Adelaide, November 12. Wheat is quoted at 3s 4d to 3s Gd; flour, £8 10s to £0. Sydney, November 11.

New Zealand wheat is steady at 3s to 3s 4d per. bushel. New Zealand oats are easier at a reduction of Id in value for lower grades. Prices to-day rule from Is 10d to 2s 2d per bushel. Maize is slightly firmer-Ss 10d beingasked per 561b.
