Union Mine (Waihl)
Advices by the mail state that the parcel of stuff sent to Wellington from tho mine had been essayed in bulk by Messrs Johnson, Mathoy and Co., assayere to tho Bank of England. They found tho average valuo to being £21 12s per ton, or for tho whole parcel £800. This is highly satisfactory, and authenticates the genuineness of tho valuation by the German purchasers of some similuro ro from the miuo some nianths ago.
