Sydney, November 11

The match between Shaw and Lillywhite's team and eleven of Sydney was resumed to-day. The attendance was large. The home team continued their innings of the previous day, and were all disposed of for 94. The Englishmen, who had scored 49 in the first innings, went to the wickets for the second time, but only succeeded in putting together G6, of which number Lohmann contributed 20, thus leaving the Sydney team with 22 runs to win, which they accomplished without the loss of a wicket.

It has been definitely decided to send an Australian cricketing team to England next season the auspices of the Sydney Association. All the best of New "South Wales have promised to form members of the team.
