Adelaide, October 29.

The cricket match, Mr Vernon's team v. eleven of South Australia, was resumed to-day. The Home team, with two wickets down for 64 runs, continued their innings, which closed for 10S, Lyons (39) and Giffin (37, not out) being the principal scorers. The visitors then went in for their second innings, and at the close of the dayplay had secured 136 runs with the los 3of two wickets, Stoddart (bowled, 64), Abel (not out, 51), O'Brien (not out, 15) being the highest scorers.
