Hamilton, this day. Native Lands Courts.

The Native Lands Department are again adjourning Courts at the last moment. Yesterday information was received in Cambridge that the Land Court that was to have opened yesterday morning at Taupo has been adjourned until the Bth inst. This is a great injustice to the natives, who are there ay hundreds, as provisions are very scarce. Cambridge Election. Sixteen candidates were nominated yesterday for the office of Councillors for the Cambridge Council. There are only nine vacancies to be filled. i
