THE MANAPOURI.
The as. Manapouri, 1,783 tons, Captain Thos. Logan, from Melbourne via East Coast ports, arrived at-11 a.m. to-day. She left Melbourne on the 22nd ult. ; arrived at Bluff on the 28th; sailed again the same day; called at Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne—leaving the latter port on the 3rd ; rounded East Cape at 5.50 p.m. same day; passed Tiritiri at 9.40 a.m. on the 4th, berthing at the wharf as above. ' Had strong S.E. gales, with heavy head sea, from Melbourne to Bluff;- thence fine weather along , the coast. Passengers': saloon—Mesdames Gray, McKenzie, Brown ; Misses Ring, Gray, Williams, AValsh, Morton ; Inspector Shearman,. Rev. J. Murphy, Messrs W. A. Kennedy,' Trenwith, Lawlor, Cohen. Hayward, Elson, Pike, Alexander, Terewhiti, Hertnon, Alabastor, Coleburne, Adams, Best, McConqudale, J. Ross, and 19 steerage. We are indebted to Mr Chas. H. .Hudson, purser, for customary favours.
