Here, too, are a few items regarding the royal yachbs which may prove inberesbing to the British baxpayer.. The original cosb of bhe Vicboria and Albert was aboub £130,000, and she has since had spenb on her over £300,000. The Osborne's original cosb was aboub £106,000, and she has had aboub £112,000 expended on her. .The Alberta's original cosb was £27,000, with a subsequonb expenditure of £68,000. The Elfin's original cosb was £6,000, the subsequenb expendibure being over £40,000. Besides these inberesbing ibems the annual pay of the officers and crew's of the royal yachbs is close upon £50,000.—" London Trubh." . ~..,- ... , ~...
