The revenue of the colony for the year ending 30th Juno amounted to .£6,734,000, being' above the estimates, and in crease of ; £317,000 compared with the previous year. The increates shown in* Customs £128,000; territorial revenue, £24,000; railways, £147,000; stamps, £2,000. There was a decrease in the excise revenue of The total revenue for the past quarter was ,£52,000 more than that of the corresponding quarter of 1885-6.
