The master and crow of tho cutter
Whaugoroi arrived hero this morning by the as loua, their voesel having been totally wrecked at tho Great Barrier yesterday. Tho Wangaroi went from Auckland to load liiewoodattheNeodles.|Very heavy w ather not in yesterday, when she was near Port Kitzroy, and eho dropped anchor between Channel Island and Fleet Kock. Tho anchor dragged, tho windlass was carried away, and the cutter drifted on the rocks. Tho rcmfter and crew got ashore in the dingy eafely, and the cutter soon nftorwords broke up. The Whangarei wao a cutter of 32 tons register,, built ot Manuring in lSu'7 and owned by Mr J. Ryan, of Auckland.
