Wellington, this day. Tuk Harbour Board have received an offer from Aehcroft and Up. to fit up 1200 electric lampa with dynamo and engine on tho wharve?, at a cost of £378 por annum. This would givo twice tho presont light. e.t 50 per cent increase on the cost. The Bo>ird now pay £240 for gas. The cost of installation would be £1,000
