Salvationists Sent to Prison.

Timaiiu, this day. John Thomson and Athur Duggan were charged at tho R.M. Court today with obstructing tho etroets and continuing to do so when ordered to " move on" on tho 25th inst. The offenco was fully proved. Thomson (Iho captain) crossexamined tho witnesses with some erfill, but failed to shake their testimony. Two members of tho Army deposed that tho accused did "move on" when desired, but caused considerable diversion by naively admitting in crossexamination, that they continued to K o up and down-just loitered like. Tno Bench inflicted thi nominal peDalty of 10s eaob, with coats, 30;. The accused said he had got no money, and elected to go to gaol for 12 hours. "All right; see my portmooteau'epacked i" exclaimed the Gaptain, as thoy marched oif.
