Death of Mr Samuel Morloy. London, Soptember 10.—The death is announced of Mr Samuel Morlcy, tho wellknown politician, aged 77. Anglo-Australian Cricket. London, September 9. —The match Australians v. tho South of England, commenced at Brighton to-day. Tho Home teom was compo-cd of W. G. Grain, Shrowsborry, W. VV. Koad, Abol, G. G. Hearne, A. Hearno, Humphries, Lohmtinn, Phillips, Maurice Road, and Wootton. The visitors, who won the toss, eloctod to bat, and succocdcd in compiling 207 runs for the loss of nine wickets, Giffen (lbw, 52), and Jarvis (not out, 45) being the chief scorers.
