Dcneiiin', this day. The Sydney Footballer's Team were welcomed this morning by the Mayor and old footballers, and driven round the town. In the afternoon they visited tho races. Tae weather is glorious, and prouiisos to be fino for to-morrow. Shaw (Captain) will be unable to pluy. A halfholiday has been proclaimed for Monday, when a second match against Otago is to bo played. Dunedin Races. Kensington' Handicap.—Athol Daisy,! ; St Ives, 2 ; Miss Cook, 3. Tally Ho Handicap.—ln this event Faugh-a-ballagh beat Canard by threo lengtl s, The others were distanced.
