SUDDEN DEATHS.

Thames, this day. An old man named William Gibbons, residing in Davy-streot, was found dead in bod yesterday afternoon. At the inquest tho medical tostimony showed that death resulted from a rupture of tho heart, and a vordict was returned accordingly.

A shockingly Budden death occurred here on Saturday, under peculiar circumstances. Robert McLood, aged 16 years, was playing cricket, when ho was struck on tho head by a ball, hit by the batsman, At tho time ho Baid he was net hurt. He returned to tho shop of Mr Pitcher, jeweller, where ho was an apprentice, and took charge of the shop tor him, porforming his ordinary duties", and then went home to bod, He was thon taken seriously ill, became unconscious, and died in two or three hours.
