Wellington, this day. At tho Government Insurance meeting last night Sir Julius Vogel stated that it was tho intention to do away with tho industrial branch of the institution; and another step that had boen decided on was to increase the rates of premiums to new policyholders. The latter course had been adopted ou the strong recemmendatisn of their actuarial advisers.
