Wellington, this day.—The "Post" of last night says, " It is announced that Mr J. Steward will be rewarded for his services in moving the late vote of no-confidence by re. ceiving thesupportof the present Opposition leaders as a candidate for the Chairmanship of Committees in the now parliament in opposition to the present occupant of that oflice, Mr Hamlin."
