What between Mr Bryee'a new Native Land Purchase Law and the removal of the constabulary, the Native Minister is becoming quite a popular man in this district.
The Land Court opened again this morning before Judges Mncdonald and Puckey, when the Te Whetu case was called. The natives are now arranging as to who Bhall conduct their case. It is expected that after Te Whetu is finished the Court will adjourn to Kihikihi. The return match between Otahuhu and Cambridge was played yesterday, when Otahuhu scored 91 and Cambridge 43.
