A most important feature in connection with mining operations is that several outsiders are coming to the front through the energetic manner in which they are being worked, and the corresponding rapid haprovements in their prospects. In accordance with instructions from Auckland, the Manager is now retorting tho amalgam which came to hand up to the 21st inst., as follows :—Premier, 1,3610z5.; New Find, 1,G650k. ; Colonist, 1,010; VVerahiko, 917 ; Waitoki, 185.
