J. F. Palings are but los per 1,000, and Hobart rails have advanced _l per 1,000 since last quotations. Tbe gum market continues dull, with prices unaltered. Receipts for the month to date amount to 470 | tons. In the hay and corn market local maize has advanced, and we quote from fis to 3s 3d per bushel, oats from 2s 4d to 2s Bd, and maize from 3s 9tl to 4s. Butter and eggs remain at last week's rates.
