KAIPARA STEAMSHIP COMPANY.
AN extraordinary meeting of tho shareholders of the above Company was hold at the Chamber of Commerce this afternacn, Mr L. D. jSatkan presiding, when tho resolution passed at the last special meeting, viz., " That tho capital of tho Company bo reduced from £30,000 divided into 6,000 shares of £3 each to 20,000 chares of £2 each,"
' n the motion of the Cbaitman, tho resolution was unanimously adopted, A wish was generally expressed that the shareholders should in evcrv respect ni&ko the future of the Company - a success. The usual compliment was accorded to the Chairman, after which the meeting btoke up.
.-■ubsequently a directors' meeting was held, a' which Mr Gun, Frater presided, and a number of various important matters relating to the shareholders were discussed and decisions arrived at.
