Tbe tenders for the Auckland Harbour Board £150,000 5 per cent, loan, were opened to-day. Tho tolal amount offered is £345,500, the tenders ranging from £100 to £103, and the averoge being £101 12s 2d The tenders at £101 lOj Gd and upwards will leceive in full, and tboso at £101 10s will receive 75 per cent.
Arabi's Trial.

It has now been agreed by the Egyptian Government that •» rabi aud his associates should be allowed the services of Engli.h counsel on their trial, which will be accordingly forthwith commenced.
