Mr Qregson, tbe manager of tho Agricultural Colliery Company, Newcastle, has accepted the proposals of the miners for tho settlement of the strike, with the exception of aa unimportant point, which he has reserved. It is now expected that an amicable settlement cf the dispute will be effected. SYDNEY MARKETS. New Zealand wheat has further daclined, and is now qaeted at ss. Now Zealand oats remain at 3s Od ; maize, 5a li. Tbe Sngar Company's jSo. 1 pieces, per ton, £35. ADELAIDE MARKETS. ADELAIDE, June, 23. Wheat is quoted at 6s to 6b 3d ; holders aro anxious to realise. Town flour, per ton, £14 ; country brand", £13. Freight very dcprcsied.
