ARRIVAL OF THE COROMANDEL, FROM LONDON.

The New Zealand Shipping Co.'s barque Coromandel, 819 tons, arrived from London, and dropped anchor at the powder ground, at 3 a.m. yesterday. She has made a fair passage ot 99 days from port to port, or 89 days from land to land. Dr Fhilson boirded tho vessel yesterday, and pronounced all the passengers in good health. Captain Hondry, who is a stranger to Auokland, reports tt the passage as follows !— loft London on Septembers, and Gravesendthe fallowing day, Had moderate winds down channel, and lout sight of Start Point on the 11th. From hence, until sighting Madeira on Sept. 21, had changeable winds and fine woathor. Here picked up N.B. trades, which proved moderate, and mado 11 N. before losing them. Thence had light S.W. winds tolat..2'lo N., whore the S.E. trades were picked up. Crossed tho Kquator in long. 19.0 W., on October 11. These trades proved fresh and unsteady. Mado lat. 22 S„ long. 30 W„ on October 19. Crossed the meridian of tbe Capo ot Good Hopo in lat. 10 S., 59 days from London, having carried changeable winds from date of losing U.K. trades. The westerlies were at first light and variable, bat increased in strength while running down tho easting, botwoon 22 and it S„ and the meridian of Cape Lswln, whloh was crossed on November 23th. Tasmania was passed on December 4. Thence had moderate winds from N.B. to N.N.W. until making land at Cascade Point on December 10. Experienced moderate W. and N. W. Winds up the coaat,and sighted tho Three Kings on December 15. Thenoe had light 1..W. winds until making the Little Barrier on December 17. Were boarded by the pilot tho same night.
