Tho s.s Macgregcr crossed Waltara Bar at 7 a.m. to-day. and may, therefore, be expected to arrive at Onehunga lato thia evening. She sails again for Opunpake and Wanganul at 10 a.ra. to-morrow.
The b.s. Rowena is advertised for Hokianga on Thursday, from Onohunga.
The barque John Knox is loading timber at the Railway Wharf. She will be full about the end of the week, and will then take her departure for Sydney.
The new ferry steamer "Victoria got up steam on Saturday afternoon, and had a spin down the harbour as far as tno lighthouse. She had a rnn with the Takapuna, and passed her easily. The official trip will probably take place on Thureday.
The Kalpara Steamship Company notify in our advertising columns that the as. Durham wUl.ln future, leave Helonsville for the Northern Walroa after the arrival of the Friday afternoon train from Auokland, returning from Dargaville on Monday morning, In addition to her usual Tuesday's trip. This alteration will enable passengers to reach Dargaville early on Saturday.
