The total eclipse of the moon was diatinctly visible last night The comet was alao aeeu on the Western horizon. Peter Camerson, aged 78, one of the oldest settlers of Lyttelton, died suddenly on Friday. On Saturday night a number of amateurs performed " Les Cloches De Corneville " at the Theatre Royal with considerable success. THE STORM. The weather cleared up on Sunday morning, and has been fine since. Nesirly 2J inches of rain fell during the storm.
