Per Waitaki from the South—CO sacks oats, 21 hides. 4 bales hops. 5 boxes butter, 1 box gold, 2 packages, 3 casea, 3 kegs.

Tho ss. Waitaki arrived in the Manukau yesterday with tuo following passengers: Hia Honor Judge Richmond, Majo ■ Heaphy, V. C, Moadames Roberts, Bonner, Stewart, Woodcock and four children, Messrs Bonner, Mu'lar, Fitzgorald, Roberts, Stewart, Douglas, Woodcock and nine steerage. The Waitaki leaves for the South again immediately afcer the arrival of the mail steamer from Ban Franc'sco.

Tho s.s. Rangatlra arrived from New Plymouth, Wanganui and Wellington at noon today. She left New PJymonth yesterday morning at 11 o'clock, and experienced strong N N. W. wind and heavy head sen throughout the passage. She leaves at 10 to-morrow morning on an excursion trip to tho Wanganui races, re turning to Onehunga by Sunday noxt. Passengers : Miss Owen, Mesdames Jones and Mo Williams, Messrs. Jones, Baker, Slater, Holiiwood, and seven steerage.
