ARRIVAL OF THE PREMIER.
The Hon. J. Hall, Premier of New Zealand, was a passenger by the Arawata, which arrived from the South this af ternooi). It is his intention to remain in Auckland for some days, and we understand that he has accepted an invitation to bo present at tjie celebration of the opening of tho navigation of the Upper Thames, which is to take place at Mr Firth's Matamata Estate on Thursday next.
