The mi utes of ihe previous ineeti'ig were read and confirmed. Tlio following reports were read : — 11 Aucklnnd, Marchßth, ISSO. I have the honour to inform you that on Saturday last I wade a post-mortem examination of a roan yoarlin^ bcifer, destroyed for that purpose, the property of Mr Joseph Finnerty of Utahuliu, anil that she had epizotic pleuro-pncmionia. The examination shewed the appearance usunlly present in this disease, the left lung was hoalihy, but the ri<;h lung adh?red firmly to the walls of the client, and was with some dilliculty removed. It was very much enlarged aud bepartised, and presented the usual marbled appearance. I have also to statu that there are nine cows in this herd, several of which show symptoms of this disease, and I have no doubt that all have it more or less. On the'same day I examined Messrs Ireland's entile at Paniuure, two more of the same herd from which my former subject for post-mortem examination have this disease, and I believe that the greater part if not all the remainder are di>eased. '1 nree cows aud one bull calf tho property of Mr Paul of |tfangnro were also examined, and also two bulls at Newmarket, the pvopcity of Mr Buckland, which appeared to be healthy.- I am sir, your must obudieut servant, G.
