Charles Junes, a Fijian, was charged with stealing a gun mid ammunition, the property of some poison unknown, and remanded until Friday. ALLKOKD LKTTEU-STKAUNC. William Layrd, a lad of 13, was charged with stealing a post-office letter, the property of Samuel Isaacs, on the 27tli inst. Remanded until to-morrow on the application of Sergeant-Major Mason. SAILORS. Thirteen seamen were charged with deserting from the ship Minister of Marine. Mr Theo. Cooper appeared in defence of he prisoners. Remanded until to-morrow. TRUANT BOYS. John Morgan, Benjamin Lynian, and Richard Mbrnn, charged with absconding from the industrial Home, were remauded ; also, Jas. Hawkins, Charles Smith, and Wm. AVells for absconding from the Naval Training School. CHARGE OF FORGKRY. Alfred Durham was charged with forging a £10 promissory note with iutent to defraud. Remanded until Friday, prisoner ad mittod to bail, himself in £100 and two sureties in £50 .each. COLD POISON. Richard Cahill was charged with threatening to poison Mrs Susan Wetherell with a dose of araenic, whereby she went in fear of her life. Mr CabiU's solicitor being unable to be present, the case was vemandod for a week, WHERE ARE THE JUSTICES? In consequence of not being able to get a second Justice until the arrival of Mr M itford, who was engaged elsewhere, the remaining business was adjourned until two o'clock.
