EDEN ELECTION.

A notification under the hand of R. C. Barstow, Esq., Returning Oißcer, fixes the nomination for the electoral district of Eden for September Ist, and the poll on the sth September. The following will be the polling places :—Newmarket, the Public Hall; Panmure, the Police-station ; Whan, the Public Hall; Mount Eden Road, the Baptist school. ONEHUNGA. The nomination for this Electoral District 'will take place at Onehunga on September 6th, and the poll if necessary on the 9th, at the Court-house, Onehunga. WAITEMATA. Mr Thomas Cotter, Keturning Officer, announces that the nomination for the Electoral District of Waitemata will bo held at the Devonport Hall, Flagstaff, North Shore, at noon on the 2nd September, and the poll if necessary on the 9th. The polling places will be at the Devonport Hall; Courthouse, Helensville ; Henderson's Mill, Great North Road; Gibbon's Mill, Huia; Public Hall, Kaukapakapa; Public Hall, Whan; Phillips' store, Lucas Creek; Lamb's Mill, Rivcrhead ; Dcnby's store, Stokes' Point; Court-house, Wade; Court-house, Wakatipu Saw-mills. AUCKLAND CITY EAST. The nomination will take place at the Mechanics' Institute on the sth September, and the poll, if necessary, at the same place on the 10th. NEWTON. The nomination will take place at the Newton Academy on the Ist September, and the poll, if necessary, at tho Congregational School-room, Newton,[on theßth September. AUCKLAND CITY WEST. The nomination is announced to be held at the rooms of the Young Men's Christian Association on the 3rd September, and the poll, if necessary, on the 6th September at the same place. PARNELL.

Nomination at the Public Hall, Parnell, on tho 4th September, and the poll, if necessary, at the same placo on the Ilth September.
