THE ABDUCTION CASE.
FULLER PARTICULARS,
Mr Cameron, the father of the little girl, Annie Cameron, who was enticed into the railway carriage on Saturday morning, and taken up the line, proceeded up to Manurewa by the early train this morning. He found hia child in the possession of Mrs Butler, who had taken every care of her, and treated her with great kindness. Mr Cameron returned again by the next train, bringing with him the little girl, who was very reluctant to leave her kind friends. The circumstances connected with the abduction are fully explained by the statement of the little girl. The facts are these : Mr Cameron resides close to the Railway Terminus Hotel, and on Saturday morning, no doubt attracted by the crowds of excursionists, she wandered down to the railway station. Here she was observed by the man Higgins, who induced her to enter the carriage on condition of taking her to see her grandmother in the country.
