That such a scheme would bo mutua'ly advantageous to the mining community, and be of material benefit to all the inin'-s represented. (2j. That each manager should convey the purport anil intention of this mooting to the .Directors of their respective Companies, andiuvite them to co-operate a-id authorise the preliminary expenses to carry on the proposed. scheme. , , , ~ (3.) That an application be mado to the General Government for a loan of £20,000 upon the sanio terms as the loans formerly granted to the Pumping: Association at the lhamcsto to guarantee the working of the pumps against the stoppage of mines that may fail in their venture, as well as to guarantee the working of the New Zealand Kapanga Companys pumps for a lengthened period. (4). That Mr V-sayldon. of the Thames Goldfield, bo authorised to make plans of the respective claims, andjlay out tho work proposed; to collect memoranda of the agreements between the Pumping Association and the Thames County, andtne conditions npon which tho first loan was granted by tho Government; to be submitted as soon as possible to another maeting. (5). That Mr William Home bo authorised to convey a copy of these resolutions to all parties concerned.
