LONDON, March 26. An increase of difficulties besets the pro-. posed Congress. Telegrams from various European capi- ■ tals express the fear that the present situation will issue in war. Kussia is indisposed to make further con- - cessions to England. The Grand Duke Nicholas was accom- I panied by a large staff on his visit to the Sultan. The^Duke says that the Russian I Ambassador Avas cheered in Pera, espe-i^ cially by the Greeks. The training ship Eurydice, returning ; from a cruise to the West Indies, capsized " in a squall off Durmore Isle ; only two aBM known to have been saved. The Elephant and Castle Theatre was- ■-. burnt down to-day. A disastrous fire has occurred in Philadelphia. Loss of property is immense. In the six day s' pedestrian match, in theAgricultural Hall, O'Leary Avon the first -,.; prize, Avalking 520 miles.
