INDUCTION OF REV. D. W. RUNCIMAN.
The induction of the Rev. D. W. Runciman to the charge of St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church, Ponsonby, where ho has officiated during the last twelve months, toot place yesterday evening, in the Ponaonby Hall. There was a good attendance, including visitors from the various Presbyterian churches in the city. The induction ceremonies were conducted by the followng clergymen appointed for the purpose at the ast meeting of the Bresbyte ry:—Revs. J. Macky, of Otahuhu; R. F. Macnicol, of St. James*. Auckland; R. Sommerville, of the Whau ; and A. (Jarrick, of St. Andrew's, Auckland. The Rev. R. Sommerville preached the induction service from the 16th verse of the 21st chapter of St. John's Gospel—" Feed my Sheep. Mr Macnicol stated the proceedings taken in connection with the call, after which Mr Macky addressed the minister, and Mr Carrack the congregation. At the conclusion of the ccr emonies, Mr Runciman shook hands with hose present as they withdrew.
