At Bemura, on Thursday, dairy oows were in moderate numbers, and fair enquiry. Store oattle in average Bupply, principally steers from 2 to 4 years old, in low condition. Prices were in favour of the buyer about 10s per head. Fat cattle in usual numbers—llS head sold, prices advanced slightly. Wo storo sheep penned ; fat sheep in full numbers—GOO sold, and at late values. 3d to 3^d the ft>. ; 150 shorn wethers, 2d the Ib. ; dairy cows, £6 to £10 each : two to three-year-old steers, £4 7s 6d to £5 ; three to ronr-years-olds, £5 10s to £6 15s ; eighteen-months, £3 to £3 103 ; cows, £3 7s Gd each to £4 2s 6d each ; fat cattle, from 24s to 42s the 100 Ib 3, averaging about 27s —averages obtained were 21 store stee7s, Chas. Bell, £5 53 ; 20 steers. Thomson Bros., £6 14s ; 8 steers, Donglas, £5 17s Gd ; 16 steers, Penny, £5 15a ; 44 head, Wrathall, £3 153 ; fat stock : 20 cows, A'lpn. £6 lls 6d ; 13 head, Chas. RMpnord, £7 10* ; 70 head, by St. KiMa. £10 4^ 6d ; 200 wethers, Corvan, 14s S'} ; 315 pj St. Kilda, 17s 6d ; 140 shorn wethers, Finlayson, 8s each.
