(Before His Honor Judge Fenton.) THOMAS CRAIG V WIKEMU TK OKA. Claim £96 2s 4d. Mr J. B. Russell for plaintiff. Thomas Craig deposed that he resided at Wairoa where he was now settled, Ihe nstive Te Oka, was indebted to him in the amount of £96 2s 4d for goods and money lent as set forth in the account. Defendant promised to be present to-day and confess 3U Judgment for plaintiff with costs £9 ss. X J. D-E MAS V. HOLMES EROS. Claim £100. . Mr Hesketh for plaintiff, and Mr Rees for defp&dants. ~ This was a claim for damages, the particulars of which have previously appeared, when it was mutually agreed to submit the matter to arbitration, and Mr B. Tonks was appointed arbitrator. , nH „ . t The award was £11 15s, and £7 7s cost of arbitration. B. A. ISAACS V. JAS. UNDERBILL. Claim, £21 10.4. ~ . Mr Meyer for plaintiff, Mr Kisshng for defendant. , Mr Alfred E. Isaacs deposed that the claim was for the amount of a promissory note given by defendant in payment for certain furniture, previously belonging to Mr Perkins, late of the Occidental -Hotel. After weighing the evidence caretully, his Honor gave judgment for plaintiff, costs £5 10s. W. H. OONNELL V. GEORGE JONES. Claim, £35 19s Gd. , , In this case a judgment summons had been obtained against defendant. On behalf of Mr Hesketh it was stated that a telegram had been received from Mr Jones, stating that he would forward the amount next week. The case was adjourned till next Oourt day. ABJOURNKD CASES. George D'Light and wife v. Thomas W. Gudgeon. Claim £47. Money lent. Several.1 other cases were settled out ol Court. This was all the business.
