VAUXHALL GARDENS.
The weather yesterday was so unfavourable that the Good Templar picnic, announced so take place in the Vauxhall Gardens, North Shore, was postponed until the New Year. Willow Gardens were well attended, and strawberries and cream were had in abundance. These gardens and adjacent grounds are in beautiful condition, and form a very pleasant xetreat for summer visitors to Devonport.
