THE TEMPLAR CONCERT.
The first concert under the auspices of the Satur-day-night Entertainment Committee was largely attended ast evening, and something over £35 was taken at the doors of the Lome-street Hall. This must, therefore, be considered the most successful of the conoerta in connection with Templary. On looking round the assemblage, we missed many of the leaders of Templary in this city, and observed many fresh faces among those who took an active part in the entertainment. The programme was honestly performed with one exception, namely— thatof Mr B. O'Hare, who was to have given a song and dance, but had danced away to BUerslie. Mr "Wright's string band and the Templar Band performed several overtures and musical selections with much credit. Songs were sung by Messrs Chapman, Carter, Miss Coleman, Miss Woods, Mrs Homer, Messrs Keesing, Marsden. EOlzinger, .Gatland. Redfern, Fry, Davey, and W. Doran tin a satisfactory manner, At the close of the concert the young people made ready for the dance, which was kept up with much spirit through the night.
