Land Sale

Mr. R. Miller reports the sale of Mr. P. Dolhels leasehold at Margahararu, containing 20.000 acres, for £1,400, to Mr. J. Gemmel. of Oamarn ; and Mr. W. Cooper's Glengarry estate, of 7,450 acres freehold, with 3,000 sheep, to Mr. Taylor White, of Otago, for £8,500. Fatal Accident. A Scandinavian named Maten Matenson was killed this afternoon by a large stone falling on him while he was excavating fronx the face of a bank.
