Sibbins grocery sale today there --were but few buyers, and tfia goods Bold fetched average prices. ' BAt J& Greenwood's E.ale of poultry, produce, &c----held at the Market-house this day, at 12 o'clock, turkeys were very plentiful, and fowJs very scarce. The attandance was large and prices realised a.3 follows :— Turkeys, smal!, 2s 9dto 3s 0:1 each ; do large, 3s 6d to 4s ■0d ; fowls, small., Iff 3d TO 2s ;do large, 2s 3d to 2s 9d ; chicks, 9d to Is each'; ducks, 2s3d to2s lOd each; Spanish fowls, 6b each ; canaries, 10s each; onions, Id to 1%& lb : potatoes, £7 10s to £8 ton. We quote thß following from a letter received in town from Messrs Pattrson and Co., Walcnambool: " the Vivid sailed for your port a few days ago, which we think will be the last carjo'ioa^ing here this season, as ■"nr potatoe Bsason for this year may now be considered clo3ed.
