Me Alfred Btjti^amd's Weekly Suport.— At Recmera on Thursday dairy c*tilo were S.h usual numbers, and better than usual quality. They were in good deraaß-i, at a slight improvetnent over, last we<:k'? Te»hi«'3. Store cattle in average numbers, anrt at late caiu»s. Fat cattle in full supply: 153 head yarded. They -were of ?ood quality, and m-ny si large size. Prices steady throughout the Sale, ai a decline of 2s 8d the 100 lbs. Store sheep plentiful; aged and inferior scarcely saleable, but good crazing sheep in enquiry at. late value*, fat sheep !a usual supply : about 800 sold. Prices slightly higher than last week. Pigs in nsual numbers, and in demand at extreme prices Prices given were : Quiefc cows, at or near calving, £6 to £12 15s ; weaned calves, 40a each ; 12 to 18-months' old steers, £3 10s to £i ; htifers, 60s to 70s; 2to 3-year-old steers, £<k 10s to £6 153 ; cows, US 10s to £5 Fat cattle, 37s s<i to 40s the 100 lbs: long woolled ewes with lambs at side, 133 to 23s 6d; merino and well-bred ewes, 9s to 12s each ; »tore.long-woolled wethers, 16s to 17s eacc ; fat sheep 4d to 4£d the lb.
