Eaiiway Complaints
There are great complaints of mis-manage-ment of the Mercer railway. Timber urgently needed here was pitched off a considerable distance from Mercer, and left rotting. The. passengers boast of being able to go through, either -way without paying. 'lhe guards are uncivil, and the whole railway officials, unequal to their sudden elevation, have lost their heads.
