CORRECTION.
To the Editor of the Star,
Sir,—ln your report of the case of Bend v. Witheford, heard in Banco yesterday, appears an ?ejroneouß statement wnicn misrepresents the case. The paragraph I wish corrected reads as follows :-j "The defendant is trustee under a wui made by the deceased Mary Bond in favor of her daughter married to defendant. f*» facts of the casef are that the deceased lady ma will made 2 years previous to ber death, wre property referred to as section 23, ICY" Auckland, for >the benefit of all her children, in trust to A. Lovett and C. Witheford. The conditions were that the youngest cluld should be educated and supported by tM proceeds of the same, until the ?aidjhUd became of age, when, by the direction of the will, an equal division was to be made.- ~ lam, &0., Clemekt WITHBFOBD^
