Phcebe arrived in the Manukau this morning, bringing later papers from the South. We clip the following from our exchauges :— NAPIER. December 31.—The firing on Thursday has been decided to be informal ; the competition, therefore, took place to-day. Two representatives will be sent from the province Renouf scored 45, and Chicken 41 ; both belong to the Napier Rifle Volunteers.
